Citizens Advice Telford & the Wrekin

Trustee Role

About the Role

You might run a business or have useful knowledge and skills gained from your work or personal life that you’d like to share.

Citizens Advice Telford & the Wrekin is an independent local charity that works as part of a national network of citizens advice offices.  We help around 11,000 people every year.  We give free impartial and confidential advice and help people with a wide range of issues.

We’re looking for people to get involved in helping to lead our charity and to help us develop our advice services for people in Telford & the Wrekin and to secure the vital resources we need to go forward.

This is a volunteer role, but reasonable expenses are reimbursed.  The role will provide you with a great deal of experience and satisfaction, and the opportunity to develop your skills and utilise your expertise and knowledge.

People from all backgrounds are welcome and we aspire to have a diverse Trustee Board that reflects our clients and the Telford community.

You do not need experience of working or volunteering with the Citizens Advice service.  We are looking for people with a wide variety of skills and a diversity of experiences.

If you’re looking for a rewarding and challenging volunteer role then all the information you need can be found in our Application Pack.
You must also complete our diversity monitoring form.
