Citizens Advice Telford & the Wrekin

Telford Mind – Time to talk event – 2/3/2023

Bharti, Kerry & Sam attended the event organised by Telford Mind for the Time to talk day. The event was very well organised with many other organisations from Telford & Wrekin present. It was a great opportunity to not only provide advice and signposting to clients but also to network with the other organisations.

One of the visitors read two poems for the audience in relation to mental health struggles and following this the Director of Services from ACCI spoke regarding the great impact all organisations in Telford & Wrekin have and how working together will only help to improve the overall service for the population. They also very kindly provided food for the event (which was absolutely delicious)

Toward the end of the event, Selina Graham, the High Sheriff for Shropshire came over to talk to us all at the stall. Selina was interested to know how our service was dealing with the impacts of the cost-of-living crisis. Selina thanked Telford & Wrekin Citizens Advice for their continued work and support in these difficult times.
