CAST - Citizens Advice Scams Telford

We’re excited to introduce CAST, a new initiative from Citizens Advice Telford and Wrekin. CAST is all about raising scam awareness and supporting victims, embedded within our community engagement programme and reaching new communities across Shropshire. This project will run from November 2025 to October 31st 2026.

What CAST Does 

Through our community network, CAST helps people to: 

• Spot scams – Learn the warning signs and common tactics scammers use. 

• Stay safe – Get practical tips to protect yourself and your money. 

• Seek support – Find guidance on reporting scams and recovering from them. 

Direct Help for Victims 

If you’ve been affected by a scam, we’re here for you. CAST offers: 

• Emotional support 

• Assistance with reporting incidents 

By integrating scam awareness into our established community network, we’ll deliver this service quickly and effectively across Telford and Wrekin, while building links throughout Shropshire.
