Citizens Advice Telford & the Wrekin

Telford & Wrekin CVS and Telford & Wrekin Council hosted a Carers Rights Event on the 21st November, for the boroughs amazing carers, veterans and their families. The aim of the event was to provide a place where all services are in one place, so they could get the help they needed in a relaxed environment.

Our Community Triage Officer attended the event with leaflets, freebies and contact information. She spoke with 13 members of the community, discussing scams, energy concerns and general information and signposting. 2 of the members of the community were offered appointments, which were booked in for future dates.
