Citizens Advice Telford & the Wrekin

Telford & Wrekin Citizens Advice hosted an event in Newport’s Cosy Hall which was sponsored by Newport & District Running Club. We invited different organisations to attend and named the event the community compass so those in need would have the information to know who to turn to in their time of need.

In attendance was:

• Wrekin Housing Group
• Telford Crisis Support
• Newport Food Bank
• NHS Digital Angels
• Telford Energy Advice
• Telford & Wrekin Council Affordable Warmth

Those who attended the event were able to seek help in the areas they needed and were able to find out how the organisations could support them in the future.

The organisations were also able to work together on the day to resolve clients issues together at the event.
